4 Interior Design YouTube Channels We're Loving for Home Inspiration

Jul 25, 2023 Annie Cao

If you love interior design as much as we do, then chances are you might enjoy looking at other homes to get inspired.

We've rounded up 4 YouTube channels that we love getting inspiration from, and we wanted to share them with you!

NEVER TOO SMALL

This YouTube channel shares small homes from all over the world and discusses various design solutions that the architects and clients came up with for each space. They really highlight the uniqueness of each home and the benefits of sustainable small-footprint design and living.

Above, the video shares a New York studio apartment in a building that used to be a hotel. The couple living there wanted to downsize to a place that was suitable for hosting, cooking, and working from home.

STACKED HOMES

On Stacked Homes, they share renovated spaces in Singapore. The clients talk about what kind of home they purchased, the design process, and how they made their space fit their lifestyle needs. They aim to help home buyers, renters, and sellers make better decisions.

The video above shows an apartment owned by a teacher who chose to create an Indochine-inspired home that was spacious enough for entertaining. He also wanted the apartment to be practical while still making a statement.

THE LOCAL PROJECT

Based in Australia, The Local Project brings stories from homes in different parts of the world. Each video discusses the home's design goals and branches off in other topics, such as making sure the home is suited for a family, or ensuring the space is connected to nature.

Above, the video showcases a suburban Eichler house in Sunnyvale, California. The clients wanted a family home that was enveloped in a lush garden and blurs the lines between the indoors and outdoors.

DESIGN SEED

This channel offers design advice while showing different homes and buildings around Malaysia. Although they might be on the luxurious side, they're still great for architecture and design inspiration. And you can incorporate their tips into your own space if it appeals to you!

The video above shares the home used in the movie Crazy Rich Asians. Although it's a luxury mansion, we like how they tried to avoid disrupting the greenery around the home and blended their indoor space with the outdoors.
