Inspired by wide plank Brazilian mid century wood furniture as well as Afra & Tobia Scarpa’s iconic Monk chair, the design celebrates the materials that go into creating each piece, showcasing the metal hardware and fabric ties.*

Sit back in your new favorite chair. The Bacana chair has a solid wood frame made from FSC-certified maple stained in a warm, water-based finish called Nutmeg. Cushion covers are replaceable and available in our selection of Recycled Velvet, Upcycled Poly, and 100% Hemp fabrics. Within the seat cushion, you’ll find a layer of natural latex foam that provides excellent support and comfort.
