Every piece in the Essential Collection is made using non-toxic materials such as CertiPUR-US® certified high resiliency foam (no flame retardants or formaldehyde), FSC-certified plywood frames, and PFAS-free fabrics. How durable is the Essential Collection?

Every piece in the Essential Collection is extremely durable and tested to withstand at least 10 years of regular use. Each piece in the collection meets ANSI/BIFMA X5.4 Section 15 standards for Lounge and Public Seating standards, which is the same contract-grade durability benchmark used for commercial furniture. It's built to last.

Is the Essential Chair comfortable for all-day use?

Yes, we regularly receive feedback from customers who find our Essential Chair comfortable to sit on for extended periods. The Essential Chair utilizes CertiPUR-US® certified high resiliency foam, which is firm enough to offer support, but cushioned enough for long reading or lounging sessions.

Sabai's upholstered furniture is made in the U.S. with our family-owned manufacturing partners in North Carolina and Tennessee.

Can I buy replacement parts if something gets damaged?

Life happens. With our Repair Don't Replace program, you can buy individual components - legs, cushion inserts, slipcovers etc. if something gets damaged, rather than replacing the whole piece.
